Each year, Universum names Norway's most attractive employers among professionals with a higher academic background and an average of seven to nine years of work experience in the categories "Economics", "Engineering", "IT", "Law", "Humanities" and "Health".
In 2024, almost 10 000 people have expressed their opinion and ranked their dream employers in the Universum Professional Survey, where Norconsult tops the list of attractive employers for consulting engineers for the fifth consecutive year.
Attract, develop and retain
"We are very proud to maintain our position as the industry's most attractive employer. One of our most important strategic focus areas is how to attract, develop and retain employees, and it is very positive that we have had a strong position among this group of experienced engineers for several years. At Norconsult you have the opportunity to influence and participate in social development, and we are constantly working to offer the most exciting projects and tasks in an environment where employees thrive," says CEO of Norconsult, Egil Hogna.
Every year, Norconsult recruits several hundred new employees. In the top 10 list in the category "engineer" are several major players in both energy and construction, all competing for the same high achievers. For several years, Norconsult has been ranked at the top of Universum's surveys, both among professionals and students. Earlier this year, the company was named the industry's most attractive employer among engineering students.
