It is important to ensure quality, maintain effective communication, and minimise the potential for errors in both design and interfaces with authorities, clients, and contractors. It is also important for all stakeholders to operate within an agreed framework and adapt the data volume to phase and requirements. The benefit is a unified construction process that facilitates sound environmental choices by making the right decisions.
BIM serves as the primary tool for communication during the design phase, encompassing quality control and interface management. Additionally, we conduct structural calculations (FEM), hydraulic analyses (CFD), climate gas calculations, as well as other analyses and optimisations based on the BIM models. The BIM models we develop allow for the extraction of construction documentation tailored to each end user's needs, such as drawings, survey data, and digital files specifically customised for FDV.
Furthermore, the BIM models serve as a basis for creating illustrations, animations, and virtual experiences, which provide a solid foundation for communicating envisioned solutions. This facilitates easy participation from developers, user groups, and others.
Additionally, we directly utilise the BIM models in on-site communication. The models serve as production references for the contractor, and we can directly receive survey data (scanning) as a basis for adjustments to the actual terrain and execution. The BIM models offer reliable "as-built" documentation, which, during the operational phase, simplifies and contributes to cost savings in both management, operation, and maintenance.
