    The new Sotra Bridge is the world's largest fully digital bridge, where everything from design to execution is digital. This allows for more detailed solutions, fewer misunderstandings on the construction site and better quality. This is what we call sustainability in practice.

    Trysfjord Bridge, with its main span of 260m, was at the time of construction the largest bridge in the world that is fully digital in both design and construction.

    Several bridge concepts have been considered, but due to large cost reducing measure proposed by Norconsult, the floating bridge has been chosen as the proposed concept. Norconsult have been working with the concept development of the floating bridge through two phases of this groundbreaking project.
